Title: Network Support Technician (Tier II)

About this role:

• Rackner is seeking a Network Support Technician (Tier II) to provide advanced technical support and assistance to end-users regarding network systems, hardware, and software. 
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, configuring network devices, and ensuring the stability and security of network infrastructure. 

We are seeking professionals with:

• 5 years; Providing network support or related role.
• Implementing networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Conducting network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
• Flexible working hours, including availability for on-call duty and occasional weekend work.
• Willingness to undergo additional training as required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA

• Provide Tier II technical support for advanced network-related issues, including connectivity, configuration, and performance problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance and security, implementing proactive measures to prevent and mitigate network threats.
• Collaborate with network engineers and other IT teams to design and implement network solutions.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.
• Provide training and guidance to junior network technicians and end-users on network-related topics and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies, standards, and protocols.
• Participate in network infrastructure projects and initiatives as needed.
