Quality Staffing Services is Hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk Near Federalsburg, MD
As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will classify, record and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers. The Accounts Payable Clerk will work under the direction of the Senior Accountant to meet the financial needs of the company.
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 / year
Job Type: Full - Time

What you will get to do:
- Perform general office duties such as filing, answering telephones and handling routine correspondence, prepare bank deposits and reconcile records of bank transactions and report discrepancies found
- Calculate, prepare and issue bills, invoices, account statements and other financial statements
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses
- Debit, credit and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases using specialized accounting software and transfer details from separate journals to general ledgers or data processing sheets
- Check figures, postings and documents for accuracy and proper codes, according to company procedures, while complying with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
Experience Level: Entry - Level Experience
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Excel
- Great Plains experience a plus
