Quality Enclosures, Inc. is Hiring a Human Resources Director (Bilingual Preferred) Near Central, NY

We are looking for an experienced and effective, process-focused Human Resources professional with a history of success in a senior leadership role.

The HR Director will partner with the executive leadership team to support the expanding operations of Quality Enclosures, a three-decade-plus-old shower door and flat glass manufacturing company centrally located on Long Island in the Hauppauge area with a positive and collaborative corporate culture. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The exceptional HR Director should improve and support HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, measure and help improve morale, employee retention, and job satisfaction, attract the best recruits, and promote the organization's values.

Responsibilities include (but may not be limited to):

· Oversee all aspects of HR including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance evaluations, employee relations, and compliance (and assist in payroll and benefit administration)

· Provide support and strategic direction to business managers and senior leadership using HR metrics to help ensure that organization’s goals are achieved

· Develop, monitor, and implement HR strategies, products and services aligned with the overall business strategy

· Develop long-term strategies and key initiatives to promote and foster an engaged workforce, boosting employee morale and increasing retention rates

· Establish new and streamline existing HR processes and oversee HR systems

· Oversee recruitment and be able to scale quickly, when necessary, as the company is growing (inside and potentially outside of NY)

· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues

· Assess training needs to formulate, apply, and monitor training programs

· Ensure compliance with all human resources and employment regulatory requirements

· Recommend, develop, and implement best practices

· Review, manage, and maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions within the organization

· Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual HR reports as needed and present them to senior leadership

Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

· Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred, but not absolutely required for the exceptional candidate

· 7 years of diverse experience in human resources

· 3 years' experience in a senior HR leadership position

· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

· PHR and/or SHRM certification a plus, but not required

· Experience with manufacturing and/or industrial companies preferred

· Proven ability to provide pragmatic, sound and practical guidance as well as the ability to take ownership of and deliver solutions for a varied range of HR challenges

· Knowledge and understanding of all current relevant Federal, state and local labor and employment laws accompanied by the drive to keep up to date and understand future legislation (with the assistance of external resources)

· Ability to work with and across all levels of the organization, including the capability to diplomatically influence Executive Leadership Team members

· Clear and strategic thinker, with ability to quickly identify root causes of problems and develop creative and strategic solutions

· High proficiency level across the Microsoft Office software suite

· Very organized and detail-oriented

· Strong and confident interpersonal skills

· Self-starter with natural tendency to take initiative, work independently, and effectively prioritize urgent tasks

· Strong judgment and critical thinking skills

· Versatile and willing to contribute to the organization in many ways

· Ability to build relationships with a diverse staff and applicant pool

· Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, with infrequent trips out of state

Compensation: $135,000 - $155,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
