Provides accounting knowledge and assistance in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and related reporting.

Requirements

• Perform month-end close activities, such as preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, trend analysis, and ad-hoc tasks.

• Complete various supporting worksheets and management reports using Excel for financial statement preparation, analysis and management review.

• Complete account reconciliations in a timely manner ensuring reconciling items are resolved on a timely basis to ensure accuracy, completeness and reasonableness of information included in the financial statements.

• Assist in coordinating timing and flow of information and correspondence with external auditors and regulators.

• Develop and maintain procedural manual outlining and detailing all the required tasks of the position.

• Assist with other tasks and special projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

• 0-3 years of experience in an Accountant position.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, SUMIF, etc.).

• Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making to solve problems.

• Must be able to work independently, effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects.

• Must be detail oriented and very organized.
