Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager to join our team. The Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting departments for various companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing support to the Chief of Finance and other senior management.

Position: Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant (title awarded based on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain corporate books and accounting procedures
• Develop SOX controls and propose new Accounting Policies and Procedures
• Oversee Management Fees and any shared services allocations
• Manage/Support month-end close process and multiple entities monthly consolidation and reporting
• Maintain corporate General Ledger and Chart of Accounts
• Reconcile and maintain Intercompany Loan Schedules
• Review account reconciliation and journal entries at the corporate ledger level
• Maintain master consolidated cash flows and originate online bank payments based on availability
• Review bank reporting and consolidated revolving credit availability
• Assist with quarterly, year-end reporting
• Assist with annual external audit
• Assist with the annual operating budget

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a management role
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in accounting, experience in manufacturing preferred
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and GAAP, CPA preferred
• Understanding of property, sales, payroll withholding tax
• Solid knowledge of various accounting software, Netsuite (Oracle) preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to keep business matters confidential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
