SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Entertainment Sales Manager is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs. This position offers a rare opportunity to be part of the latest venture from iconic hotelier Ian Schrager, requiring the successful applicant to work closely with the team to nurture and grow the brand.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Sell the Entertainment Booking segment.
• Be an ambassador for PUBLIC by meeting and exceeding PUBLIC core objectives and values.

• Be fully accountable for the people, product and profit within the hotel.
• Contribute to the strategic development of PUBLIC.
• Achieve individual quarterly booking quotas.
• Participate in creation of annual marketing plan.
• Responsible for solicitation of new business and growth from existing clients.
• Responsible for site inspections, client entertaining, client visits and hosting receptions and FAM’s.
• Attend trade shows / sales trips while staying in line with travel budgets.
• Develop relationships with guests, group contacts, neighbors and other guests in order to provide personalized service.
• Respond to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Expert in Sales and representation of the hotel, along with excellent knowledge of all facets of the property.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures at alllevels.

• Maintain a high level of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and late hours when necessary.
• Meet/exceed sales goals as assigned supporting team goals.
• Must have the ability to report to work on time and when scheduled.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess excellent phone skills and be guest service oriented and proactive.
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure at all times.
• Ability to be friendly, engaging, gracious and the ability to focus and connect with all guests and team members and exceed their expectations.
• Have an upbeat, energetic, authentic and professional attitude at all times.
• Know how to participate in a team environment and assist other departments when needed, providing lateral service.
