Providence Hospitality Partners is seeking an energetic General Manager with previous GM experience for a Holiday Inn Express, Kansas City. The ideal candidate should be well rounded in sales, rooms, and food and beverage with a passion for crafting a brand that reflects the position statements They will have a commitment to excellence and a servant's heart toward others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the management team that drives excellence in execution
• Owner communication and relations
• Prepare annual budget and marketing plans
• Monthly P & L goals, reporting
• Achieve overall RevPar, Star Index goals, and GOP
• Weekly written reporting to the management company
• Prepare ownership operation and marketing reports
• Participate in weekly yield revenue call with the management company
• Directs the overall property sales effort
• Daily hands-on overview of the total operations
• Greeting and assisting the guest on a daily basis
• Strong emphasis on being part of the local community
• Ensures the maintenance and quality standards are maintained throughout the hotel
• Maintain proper staffing guidelines bases on occupancy
• Evaluates food & beverage programs and make recommendation for changes
• Selects and train associates for the property
• Ensures customer satisfaction by soliciting feedback and ion improving standards
• Work with associates on improving their performance and development to grow with the company

Qualifications:

• 3 years’ minimum experience as a General Manager
• Independent brand experience preferred
• Strong experience in rooms operations and sales
• Good understanding of revenue generation and yield management
• 3 years of P&L responsibilities
• Able to motivate team to provide the best in customer service

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, post high-school accredited hotel administration training
