Position Overview:
As General Manager for Riot House Denver, you will have the opportunity to oversee all aspects of the venue operations and work alongside a diverse group of talented individuals who share your enthusiasm for hospitality.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in the entertainment industry working in a high-volume nightclub.
- 2 years leadership experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, alcohol, and steps of service/presentation.
- Knowledge of profitability analysis, budgeting, back office reporting systems, nightclub operations, cost controls/inventory, and purchasing.
- Excellent knowledge of state and local liquor laws, as well as health department and OSHA safety requirements.
- Ability to perform well in stressful situations with a guest-oriented mindset.
- Ability to successfully handle conflicts among staff or customers diplomatically and efficiently.
We’re searching for a candidate who can:
- Oversee all aspects of the venue’s operations.
- Ensure the venue is running effectively and meeting all company standards each shift, including the execution of beverage service, guest interaction, atmosphere, and cleanliness.
- Ensure all employees are complying with regulations, ordinance, and company policies/procedures.
- Establish a basic staff strategy by monitoring and initiating strategies connecting to staff measures and preparation of specialized improvement programs.
- Prepare work schedules and delegate specific work duties.
- Expand, maintain, and disseminate the Company's service philosophy to lead staff toward optimal working outcomes for guest satisfaction and high staff morale.
- Sets the standard for cleanliness through internal audits, checklists and team member communication.
- Effectively manage the Company's cash resources.
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports to identify trends, future needs and obstacles to achieve goals.
- Maintain a fiduciary responsibility to the Company by minimizing costs and maximizing revenues.
- Review financials with management team to help develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses.
- Deliver amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
