Job Description

Prescient Edge is seeking a Program Manager (mid) to support a Federal government client. As a Program Manager, you will:

• Independently draft, coordinate, and staffing actions within OSD, the Services, a 4th Estate Defense Agency or the Joint Staff.
• Have an understanding of the DoD population
• Communicate both written and oral including demonstrated negotiation/collaboration skills required as documented through a variety of experiences briefing and presenting issues to senior level leadership.
• Research and provide analysis of DoD and Component policies and directives.

Job Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Program/Project Management, Business Management, or related discipline such as in information security is highly preferred but not required.

Requirements

• This individual must possess a significant amount of experience in the multi-functional security disciplines (as defined below), with demonstrated experience applying the security discipline to an insider threat program
• Substantially similar to a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the following areas:
  1. Security policies and procedures experience used in the information security discipline for DoD and the Defense Intelligence Enterprise.
  2. Portfolio, Program and Project Management (PM).
  3. Intermediate knowledge of PM documentation (e.g. Project Management Plan, Project Schedule, and Standard Operating Procedure).
  4. Independently drafting, coordinating, and staffing actions within OSD, the Services, a 4th
  Estate Defense Agency or the Joint Staff.
  5. An understanding of the DoD population through work experience directly supporting the military or DoD population.
  6. Communication both written and oral including demonstrated negotiation/collaboration skills required as documented through a variety of experiences briefing and presenting issues to senior level leadership.
  7. Researching and providing analysis of DoD and Component policies and directives.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with the greater security professional community.
• Proficiency in the use of computers and associated software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of DoD’s supporting security functions to include insider threat, operations security, technology protection, habeas, declassification, SCI and SAP security policies is highly desired.
