Laurel Crest Retirement Community has a wonderful opportunity for an Executive Chef to join their Culinary team! As part of the management team, this position will supervise the quality standards and practices of the food production process including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service and sanitation.
Responsibilities for this leadership position include but not limited to:
Requirements
Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Associates Degree
Experience: Three years in a supervisory culinary role
Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft software programs. Strong planning, organizing, leadership and team management skills. ServSafe Certification required.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Experience: Direct experience working in senior living as a culinary supervisor.
Skill: Experience with ordering systems and proven relationships with outside vendors. CDM Preferred.
