Premier Solutions, LLC is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Elmsford, NY

Position Summary: Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources and Compliance, manages, supports, and contributes to the overall success of the department as a human resources generalist with supervisory responsibilities. Ensures daily operational and administrative activities of the human resources department are executed timely, accurately, and efficiently. The Human Resources Manager will function as a generalist with knowledge and competency and collaborate with the VP, Human Resources and Compliance (VPHR) on projects, and other key responsibilities as defined.

Essential Functions:

Serves as a human resources generalist with key areas of responsibility as identified:

  • Payroll production and HRIS integrity: produces and supports, with the Human Resources Generalist, the cycle of biweekly PA form and all payroll related prep is done on time and accurately including all after actions and documentation: maintenance of the system.
  • NET and QNHO Programs - managing and ensuring that the NET (Net Employee Orientation) schedule and QNHO (Quarterly New Hire Orientation) are appropriately and accurately coordinated including presenting at NET; ensures staff roster lists and email invitations and reminders are prepared and distributed timely and accurately.
  • NET: Conduct new employee orientations on organizational structure, standards of performance/policies/procedures and organizational values. Counsel employees on benefit plans to ensure that employees make informed benefit decisions
  • Job Description Library - manages and ensures the accuracy of the Job Description library including the review of newly created or revised job descriptions, salary factoring and FLSA for review by VPHR.
  • Provides strategic contributions on employee engagement and retention, employee interface and satisfactory resolution. Identifies OFI (opportunities for improvement) to streamline workflow and processes.
  • Employee Relations – lifts up to the VPHR any identified concerns, potential issues to the VPHR to address and resolve.
  • Supervises the Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist on daily work flow, responsibilities and key deliverables and successful execution of.
  • Compliance related activities: prepares and contributes to annual AASC survey, prepares annual EE0-1 Reporting, conducts CRQM auditing and preparation on behalf of the department and ensures identified deficiencies are properly addressed and corrected.
  • Position Control – maintains and updates position control regularly to reflect all employee updates, transfers, leave status etc. and updates monthly the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) data elements.
  • Data Reporting: generates Human Resources monthly reports for VP, Human Resources and President & CEO, which includes dashboards, statistics, and other reports as requested. This includes DEI data elements, tracking and trending, as reflected on the monthly Reports.
  • Compliance – assists with the tracking of assigned compliance elements which includes past-due performance reviews, Annual Health Assessment (annual wellness exams), Covid 19 vaccine, annual flu vaccine, annual Anti-Sexual Harassment Attestation Forms and other compliance elements as required.
  • Human Resources Policy – Policy Tech User and prepares draft policies for review by VPHR.
  • Regularly review legislative changes and labor law mandates that may require policy adjustments or review of related policy to ensure compliance.
  • Update and maintain current Human Resources section on the PPHP Intranet including departmental items and documents.
  • Benefits administration – supports the activities of new employee enrollments, employee status changes and qualifying events.
  • Manages the annual (OE) open enrollment by assisting in the coordination of with the benefits broker, VPHR, including but not limited to: liaison with ADP WFN for plan set-up open enrollment materials, participation in open enrollment meetings, benefit plan(s) set-up and changes in ADP Workforce Now, as well as coordination with benefit providers. This includes validating the accuracy of the open enrollment plans and employee selections.
  • Ongoing interfacing and communicating with all benefit providers and carriers as utilized by PPHP.
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot issues for all ADP Workforce Now Carrier Connections with carriers.
  • Ensures employment verifications including mortgage, PSLF, childcare and housing assistance, wage garnishments, county or government requests and NYS Unemployment inquiries are coordinated accurately and timely.
  • Performance Management Process
  • IT access and security: submit IT requests for employee changes, terminations, deactivations, and reactivation.
  • Leave Management – coordinates and ensures with the human resources generalist that all leave programs and the activities associated with: leave requests, vendor responses, employee timecards, required documentation, IT security and all elements of are conducted in full compliuance with state and federal laws. This includes coordinating employees’ on (unpaid) leave in with elective benefits and the employee’s contribution payment. and coordination of payment to Finance.
  • Quarterly CEO Report - gathers and prepares the narrative draft for review by the VP, HR Prepares the quarterly CEO Report
  • Plans and contributes to the annual staff enrichment day planning process and execution of.
  • Ensures that the process of all monthly benefit (elective and voluntary) vendor invoices are prepared and submitted accurately
  • Provide project support to the VPHR including conference calls, organizing, and scheduling meetings, creating and maintaining data spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, mailings, reports, minutes, and the like.
  • Serve on affiliate committees, teams, and workgroups, as needed.
  • Assigned additional projects or priorities, as needed.
  • Regularly checks personal PPHP email account for important affiliate-related communications, at least every 24 hours.

Qualifications:

Experience, Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree required, and a minimum 4-8 years’ solid and progressively responsible experience as a human resources generalist (administration, benefits, HRIS, total rewards) with supervisory experience strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired.
  • Knowledge and working proficiency of software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, SharePoint, and Teams), Adobe Acrobat, Digital Signature software, and ADP Workforce Now HRIS or ERP systems required.
  • Human Resources certification (i.e., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, including priority-setting and decisionmaking ability.
  • Must possess excellent judgement, critical thinking and soft skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Initiative, ability to work independently and under pressure and understands shifting priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff, volunteers and community.
  • Possesses a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, discretion, self-awareness, diplomacy and respect to foster a supportive, open-door policy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
