By eliminating the need for any on-premises footprint common among traditional information security systems, Portnox allows companies—no matter their size, geo-distribution, or networking architecture—to deploy, scale, enforce and maintain these critical zero trust security policies with unprecedented ease.
We are searching for an Austin-based SDR Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, a keen understanding of sales metrics, and exceptional skills in data analysis and team building.
This role is hybrid. You will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week. Our offices are located in South Austin. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a team of SDRs to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide ongoing training and career development opportunities for team members.
  2. Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize data and analytics to drive sales strategy and make informed decisions. Regularly track and analyze key performance metrics to optimize team performance and sales processes.
  3. Pipeline Management: Ensure a healthy sales pipeline by developing effective lead generation strategies. Monitor and improve lead qualification processes to enhance conversion rates.
  4. Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess team effectiveness. Provide regular feedback and coaching to SDRs to improve individual and team performance.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, particularly marketing and sales, to align strategies and optimize the lead nurturing process. Ensure effective communication within the team and across departments.
  6. Reporting and Forecasting: Regularly report on team/individual performance, pipeline status, and forecasted sales. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
  7. Recruitment and Training: Identify hiring needs and participate in the recruitment process. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for new hires.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Proven experience as an SDR Manager or similar role in sales or marketing.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Ability to create and implement effective sales strategies and training programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
