Crown Packaging International, a supplier of plastic rigid packaging, is seeking candidates for the role of Customer Service Representative to help build our presence in the Chicago and Midwestern market. The primary purpose of this role will be to assist in all facets of Customer Service, including customer relations, communications, order processing, logistics, and problem solving. This role is to ensure each customer receives the best possible service and support with their business’s packaging needs.

• Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers via email and phone to provide information about products and services, take orders, and obtain details of all customer matters.

• Become deeply knowledgeable with company’s product offering, product features, industry terminology, quality controls and attributes.
• Use company system to enter orders, monitor inventory, communicate with production, and track shipments.
• Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Resolve client’s service or billing problems by communicating with customers and vendors, researching complaints, helping to resolve conflicts, and processing any required credits.
• Support sales team by assisting with follow-up, sample requests, and any customer qualification needs and procedures.
• Knowledge of administrative, clerical procedures and systems such as word

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
• Knowledge & Experience with ERP Systems, Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Pro-Active problem solver
• Work Well in a Team Environmentprocessing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• High School Diploma Required
• Previous Customer Service Experience Required
• Experience in Business-to-Business Customer Service Required
• Rigid Packaging Experience Preferred
