Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Angelus Human Resources (HR) Director oversees the overall strategic direction, planning and coordination of all Human Resource functions. The HR Director is responsible for developing and ensuring effective implementation of plans, systems, policies and processes for workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management and development, employee engagement, legal compliance and recordkeeping, employee relations, total rewards (compensation and benefits), and payroll.
This is the top HR position and is expected to establish best people practices for the organization through collaboration and consensus building toward shared outcomes. The HR Director is a strong example of Angelus’ ideal professionalism and ensures company-wide compliance to the Angelus Guiding Principles. The HR Director is a champion of Angelus and works diligently to sustain its impressive character-based culture. The Angelus HR Director will have direct reports within the Human Resources department. The HR Director will be responsible for determining the best separation of duties amongst the team. The HR Director’s personal workload will include setting the department’s strategic direction, leadership and a portion of the tactical work that must be performed within the department.
