Phoenix IT Solutions is Hiring a Community Manager Near Peoria, AZ

Thrive Community Management is a small but growing community management company with solid core values based on exceeding expectations and making a difference in the lives of people who choose to live in homeowners’ associations. The successful candidate must have at least two (2) two years of HOA management experience, demonstrate a high level of professionalism and accountability, and exhibit a proactive approach to the management and future growth of communities.
 
Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of homeowners’ associations.
  • Read, review, and have a strong understanding and knowledge of association governing documents, including but not limited to CC&Rs, Bylaws, Rules & Regulations as well as Arizona and federal statutes relating to Associations.
  • Solicit and negotiate contracts for Associations and make recommendations to the Board.
  • Act as the direct and main point of contact for Association vendors and service professionals.
  • Review and analyze monthly financial statements and be able to provide a comprehensive report for the Board of Directors. 
  • Review, modify, code, and approve invoices every week.
  • Prepare, organize, attend, and facilitate all community meetings.
  • Prepare annual budgets.
  • Create and submit weekly management reports to the Board of Directors.
  • Inspect common areas on a routine basis for any maintenance needs or improvements and make the necessary recommendations to the Board. 
Requirements and Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clear, concise, and grammatically correct communication.
  • Effective listener. Needs to be able to understand issues completely and articulate and provide creative solutions.
  • Able to plan effectively but flexible enough to handle distractions without losing patience. 
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
  • Must be able to work well under pressure, meet multiple deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexible work hours including nighttime board meetings and an occasional weekend meeting.
  • Team player and leadership skills.
Education and Certificates:
  • CMCA required
  • Position involves driving, sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Valid driver's license, registration, and state-mandated vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to use a computer and a phone in a home office setting and use a tablet while in the field.
  • College experience helpful. 
  • Bilingual is a plus.
