The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the hotel Human Resources department including talent acquisition, employee relations, employee recognition, talent development & management, and compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable legislation. Responsible for enforcing company-wide strategies and business objectives at the property level.
Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resources and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, onboarding, retention, development, and succession planning.
Manages full cycle talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, hiring of qualied applicants, onboarding and e verify process; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for career opportunities.
Maintains HRIS system to include electronic associate les, personnel actions forms that aect payroll, training assignments, employee le updates, and all other changes.
Responsible for complete onboarding cycle to include exit interview, and IT tickets.
Provides support and guidance to associates and leadership with employee relations matters. Conducts investigations and maintains accurate records of all employee incidents. Provides guidance for progressive coaching & counseling. Participates in coaching conversations as needed.
Assigns and monitors training courses and paths as required for internal development opportunities and compliance. Conducts orientation or training as required.
Coordinates and assists with rewards and recognition programs as per company-wide initiatives.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding all human resources and payroll matters. Communicates with corporate oce regarding all leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, benets, and legal matters.
Responsible for risk management to include reporting of all injuries, and safety incidents or concerns. Is
an active member of the hotel’s Safety Committee.
Monitors performance evaluation cycle with skills development to identify and collaborate with succession planning initiatives.
Responsible for compiling, reviewing, and submitting payroll information to include incentives and earnings, or deductions by established deadlines.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; maintains compliance with company -wide policies and procedures.
Participates in and leads meetings.
Provides support and responds to inquiries regarding all human resources maters such as employee self-
service.
Compiles reports and analyzes data. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or equivalent related experience. Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
A minimum of three years of human resources generalist experience or leadership role, preferably in the
hospitality industry.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP or PHR highly desired.
Procient with Microsoft Oce Suite or related HR software systems. Hospitality experience highly preferred.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer while multitasking. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 15 pounds without assistance.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reect the business needs of the hotel.
