Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Assistant. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payments
- Utilize ERP Software and other accounting software to perform general ledger accounting tasks
- Collaborate with team members to complete month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide support in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies
Requirements:
- Previous experience with building supply or construction industries is a plus.”
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
- Previous experience with account analysis and reconciliation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
