As a Security Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of your Account Portfolio consisting of security officers assigned to various client sites. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage employee life cycle including recruitment, performance management, professional development, retention, and separation
• Maintain accurate weekly schedules, payroll timecards, uniform/equipment issue, and employee records
• Build, improve, and maintain client relationships by communicating and meeting regularly, providing solutions to needs or concerns, and ensuring contract compliance
• Coordinate with office staff on staffing needs and/or emergencies to prevent dark posts
• Address urgent or time-sensitive matters promptly during and outside of normal business hours including weekends and holidays, via phone, text or email
• Oversee on the job training, conduct site inspections, or respond to emergency situations involving employees or clients during and outside of normal business hours
• Independently handle Account Portfolio consisting of 10 – 20 client sites, 700 – 1400 hours, and 20 – 40 employees
• Independently manage multiple priorities/deadlines, complex and high stress situations, a diverse team of employees, and varying client requirements on an ongoing basis
• Implement and enforce disciplinary policies and procedures, including issuing written warnings, conducting investigations, preparing incident reports, and documenting employee performance or conduct issues.
• Handle potentially hostile situations or angry individuals calmly and professionally
• Develop and maintain current Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Post Orders on all client sites for employee reference and training
• Conduct both general and client-specific trainings for employee development to ensure all employees meet Peak and client standards
• Obey proper methods, procedures, and safety precautions in addressing client, employee, and business needs
• Utilize scheduling programs to manage payroll, minimize overtime, and meet operational goals and company expectations
• Handle any after-hour calls and cover any open shifts if a replacement cannot be found
• Other management responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 2 years of previous contract security, military, or law enforcement experience
• 2 years of business management/operations experience
• 5 years of clean driving experience
• 1 year Microsoft Officer experience (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
• At least 21 years old with 5 years of clean driving experience
• Current Utah Unarmed or Armed Security License OR ability to obtain one
• Previous payroll, billing, and scheduling software experience (Winteam, TrackTik, ADP)
• Able to pass background check and pre-hire drug screen
• Flexible schedule to fill in shifts outside of business hours as a result of understaffing, call offs, or no call/no shows.
• Must be available to provide after-hour emergency response and may be required to work nights, holidays, and weekends
• Bilingual is a plus but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Majority of work is performed in a corporate office with regular travel to commercial or industrial client sites exposed to fluctuating weather conditions

• Work on desktop computer for long periods of time in a lighted office setting
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders, and standing or walking throughout client sites on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, outdoor areas)
• Constantly use sight, speech, and hearing (correctable to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, view security monitors, and demonstrate hand/eye coordination
• Stand or walk for long periods of time throughout company and client sites on various interior and exterior surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, outdoor areas) and in all types of weather
• Safely operate a company vehicle
