Role Summary:

The Business Development Manager will spearhead the expansion of Paxful's B2B capabilities, forging strategic alliances that leverage our peer-to-peer technology to solve enterprise-level challenges. This role demands a strategic thinker with a knack for identifying synergistic partnerships and crafting tailored solutions that resonate with business clients; a forward-thinker ready to lead from day one. The Business Development Manager will work closely with Paxful’s Growth and Corporate Development teams to ensure full alignment of strategic initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully integrate Paxful’s existing solutions with reputable, high-quality businesses in high ROI partnerships while developing new, custom B2B products.
  • Partnership Cultivation:
    • Identify and engage with potential B2B partners, using a strategic approach to analyze market trends and align Paxful's solutions with partner needs.
    • Develop a partnership pipeline that focuses on long-term value creation, emphasizing sectors where Paxful's payment solutions and peer-to-peer marketplace can offer distinct advantages.
    • Negotiate and close partnership deals, ensuring alignment with both parties' strategic goals and operational requirements.
  • Custom Solutions Development:
    • Work closely with product, engineering, and compliance teams to tailor Paxful’s offerings to meet the specific needs of enterprise clients.
    • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of Paxful solutions into partner platforms, ensuring a seamless experience.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented solutions, using feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation in Paxful’s B2B product suite.
  • Market and Sector Penetration:
    • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the cryptocurrency and fintech landscape.
    • Identify new high potential regions for expansion that display strong business potential.
    • Represent Paxful at industry events and forums, enhancing the company’s visibility and establishing thought leadership in the B2B space.
  • Revenue and Growth: Meet and exceed sales and growth targets by forming high-quality partnerships that contribute to marketplace volume and revenue.
  • Brand and Trust: Uphold and advance Paxful’s reputation for compliance, security, and trustworthiness in all business dealings.

Qualifications:

  • Hustle, Drive, Motivation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B business development or partnership roles, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, or blockchain.
  • Demonstrated ability to forge and grow strategic partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain, and compliance landscapes.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
  • Agile and able to thrive in a fast-evolving environment.
