Pathfinder Consultants, a verified SDVOSB located in Washington, DC has a job opening for a Strategic Communication Specialist on a contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security, Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCRSO), Real Property & Asset Management, providing Strategic Planning, Performance Analysis, and Reporting support. This is a remote position at this time however travel to the field office locations may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with facilitation of component PMR sessions to complete program evaluations across Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCRSO) program areas in order to assess the health of component real property programs.
- Assist with ensuring foundational policies and processes are in place that provide consistent, correct, and compliance guidance per the DHS and OCRSO Strategic Plans
- Assist with updating PMRs slides
- Assist with updating OCRSO Strategic Plans.
- Assist with developing communications for program for Stakeholders
- Support program management reviews of Components’ (or equivalent organizations) asset management and environmental programs which includes facilitating Components’ meetings to gather and analyze the information necessary to determine the health of the Components’ programs, evaluating major acquisition programs within the engineering and logistic discipline, and determining the effectiveness of sustainment plans managed by Components on fielded high-value programs.
- Provide analysis and support int eh development of key documents and training materials.
- Assist in the communication of goals, objectives, and results of asset management with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist DHS OCRSO with targeted communications during organizational and real property project initiatives, risk identification, risk management documentation, and work breakdown structure revision.
- Other duties as assigned
- 2 years’ minimum experience
- Demonstrated experience with Strategic Planning, Communications and PMRs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, as well as SharePoint
