Responsibilities of Facilities Maintenance Technician:
- Responsible for customer site equipment installations, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure maximum equipment efficiency and to minimize downtime and customer inconvenience
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting, etc. as needed.
- Perform visual inspection and diagnostic testing
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and/or machinery manuals to diagnose problems, identify components, and verify proper equipment operation.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures including lockout/tag out.
Qualifications of Facilities Maintenance Technician:
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and chillers in any or all is a plus
- Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to learn and understand technical terminology
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- High School Diploma preferred
