Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring the smooth flow of the medical office. If you have experience in medical reception and possess strong organizational and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Verify patient information and update records in the electronic medical system
- Manage patient check-in and check-out process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the medical team to provide exceptional patient service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic office equipment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy
