Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence!

Job Summary:
First point of contact that ensures efficient transitions of our everyday workflow, schedule appointments, send messages to the assign recipient.

Qualifications:

Essential Functions:

• Follow HIPPA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Meet daily, weekly,and monthly required metrics.
• Operate office machines including, computers, copiers, scanners, telephones, and other standard office Equipements.
• Answers phones, in a professional/compassionate manner, direct calls to appropriate team members, and prepares messages.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments according to office protocols and procedures.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility reports.
• Collect and/or update patient demographics.
• Prepares letters and reports according to written and verbal instructions.
• Collect necessary co-pays or payments.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Perform other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, medical office environment with frequent interruptions and occasional crisis situations.
• Met required metrics.
• Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred.
• Ability to use office machines (e.g., computer, copy machine, telephones).
• Punctual, dependable, and trainable.
• Knowledge of EMR systems preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Observational awareness.
• Effective Planning
• knowledge of HIPPA regulations and guidelines.
• familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive medical information and foster a professional work environment.

Education:
High School Diploma
GED

Work Environment:
Prolong periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer while working in a temperature-controlled environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
