A. Coordinate and supervise patient care reflecting the needs of the patients, families, and the facility.
B. Give care, showing flexibility with rules and regulations, as indicated by the patient’s needs.

I. Demonstrate the ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment of a patient and reassess as needed.
J. Have the ability to assess and reassess pain, utilize appropriate pain management techniques, and educate the patient/family.
K. Perform all aspects of care (pre-operatively and post-operatively) in an environment optimizing patient safety and reducing the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
L. Be able to formulate an individualized plan of care for each patient.
M. Possess knowledge of cardiac monitoring and identifying dysrhythmias.
N. Adhere to the dress code; appearance is neat and clean.
O. Complete annual educational requirements.
P. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Q. Report to work on time and as scheduled, with flexibility to the schedule.
R. Wear identification while on duty.
S. Attend staff meetings, annual review, and in-services as scheduled.
