Join our culinary team at a prestigious French restaurant nestled in the charming landscapes of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We're dedicated to delivering an authentic Boulangerie experience, blending tradition with innovation to create unforgettable moments for our guests.

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of culinary production,kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. working along with our Culinary Director on menu development You'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, leadership, and expertise in French cuisine while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and execute daily seasonal specials that highlight the best of French-Mediterranian cuisine, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
  • Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes, adhering to the restaurant's standards and specifications.
  • Manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business goals and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant, preferably with a focus on French cuisine.
  • Extensive knowledge of French culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Creativity and innovation in menu development, with a passion for exploring new culinary trends and techniques.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training is required.
