Agency Expectations of Employee
Major Accountabilities:
1. Maintain cash balances in QuickBooks on weekly basis;
2. Complete bi-weekly payroll processing;
3. Reconcile bank accounts;
4. Perform month end adjusting entries;
6. Complete and review month end reporting for finance committee and Board meetings;
7. Perform ad-hoc reporting, specifically for grant statistics;
8. Assist external accounting firms with annual audit and tax preparation;
Position Qualifications:
Education:
Experience:
· 2 - 4 years of experience in accountant or professional bookkeeper role;
· Non-profit experience is preferred, but not a requirement;
· 3-5 years of QuickBooks experience.
Skills Required:
· Must be an experienced user of MS Office, specifically Excel.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Outreach Teen & Family Services is a non-profit, community-based counseling agency located in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh. Outreach provides professional, confidential, affordable counseling to young people and their families, with services to address anger management, family problems, school-related issues, depression, anxiety, drug & alcohol, and myriad other issues. Clients are seen within a short period of time from the initial request for services. Outreach Teen & Family Services is an invaluable resource to adolescents and families in distress. We employ 18 part-time counselors wh...o hold a minimum of a Masters degree, and one behavioral specialists. These professionals have an average of 15 years of counseling experience with adolescents, ranging from eight to 36 years of experience. New clients specific needs are matched with a counselors area of expertise. Some of the many issues our counselors address include: abuse issues (physical, sexual, emotional), anger, anxiety, attention deficit disorder, bullying, children of divorce, depression, drug & alcohol abuse, eating disorders, oppositional defiance, peer pressure, self-esteem, self-harm (cutting), stress, and numerous other topics. Even in challenging economic times, Outreach ensures that young people and their families have resources and services available to them. Our fees are reasonable, at most only $50/session. In the case of financial hardship, those fees may be partially or wholly subsidized. There are no waiting lists, clients are typically seen within one week from initial contact.
