Overview:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks.
Duties:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts
- Prepare monthly P&L financial statements, balance sheets.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Prepare local, state, and federal estimated tax payments and assist with year-end audits and tax preparations
- using Quickbooks accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and corporate accounting principles
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and account analysis
- Proficient in preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records
- Familiarity with accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $350.00 - $400.00 per month
