One Off Hospitality Group Ltd is Hiring a Payroll Coordinator Near Chicago, IL

Description

POSITION: PAYROLL COORDINATOR REPORTS 

TO: CONTROLLER 

FLSA: NON-EXEMPT 

POSITION SUMMARY: One Off Hospitality is looking for a full-time Payroll Coordinator who will assist the Controller to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

Requirements

Requirements: 
Duties/Responsibilities, including but not limited to

  • Assists in accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates of hourly employees.
  • Ensures hours are accurate and approved by Managers before payroll processing dates.
  • Responsible for manual export, load, and balancing of hours and tips from the POS timekeeping system into Paylocity
  • Runs accurate and timely reports for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls in an organized and structured system.
  • Manages expense reimbursements tracking and payout
  • Works with appropriate managers to resolve issues and correct discrepancies in pay and related payroll systems/records
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws
  • Receives, respond to, and processes wage assignments, court-ordered garnishments, tax levies, and bankruptcies
  • Assists current and former employees with W2 requests
  • Ensures employees have access to the HRIS system and update credentials as needed.
  • Submits quarterly Department of Labor (DOL) reporting for all locations
  • Completes ad hoc and accounting projects on an as-needed basis.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in Excel.
  • Proficient with payroll software.
  • Proven ability to manage time and attendance software.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly confidential information.

Education and Experience:

  • At least two years of related experience, ideally with non-exempt and tipped employees.
  • One (1) year experience working with an HRIS and/or Payroll Software
