- Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals.
- Spend 80%-90% of time making sales calls in territory (SE Michigan- Ann Arbor to Kalamazoo) developing new buying accounts and building loyalty through 100% customer satisfaction from existing accounts.
- Coordinate with Regional resources to design and offer customer-centric solutions across multiple product categories.
- Maintain disciplined daily/weekly activity goals.
- Deliver consistent results through a clearly defined sales approach.
- Budget and maintain market share targets in conjunction with Regional objectives.
- Target accounts to grow internal customer base and penetrate territory.
- Master technical sales and territory management skills; product knowledge, a superior understanding and execution of proper prospecting and sales processes.
- Maintain an updated database.
- Recognize potential problem areas and take proactive corrective action.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales or marketing related field, OR 10 years’ experience in outside industrial sales.
- 3 years of technical sales experience; proven track record within the industrial automation industry preferred, such as with the sale of pneumatics, robotics, touch-screens, electronics, PLCs, conveyors, bearings, etc.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
