Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc. is Hiring a Business Operations Manager, Practice Operations Near Columbus, OH
Ohio Gastroenterology Group is the leading provider of general advanced GI procedures with several state-of-the-art facilities throughout Central Ohio. We employ a talented team of specialists who perform more GI procedures each year than any other practice in our area.
We currently have a full-time opening for a Business Operations Manager, Practice Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support clinical/operational strategies and coordination of daily, weekly, and monthly operations for practice managers as assigned by the Director of Practice Operations.
Support planning, organizing, and implementing process changes related to patient care for Practice Operations. Serves as liaison between practice managers/offices to ensure consistency of projects, initiatives, and changes across all locations in an organized fashion.
Escalates departmental issues/errors to prioritize and resolve concerns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams/departments such as training team, scheduling, revenue cycle, patient experience, nursing, and others to deliver department goals.
Supports director in efforts related to goal deployment.
Utilize appropriate tools to plan meetings, align action steps, and ensure follow through related to this work.
Develops and implements standard work.
Perform data analytics, interpretation and reporting for key performance indicators and trends in Practice Operations and develop mitigation strategies for variances.
Project management and communication with key project stakeholders related to Practice Operations, including participation in Kaizen events and process improvement activities.
Lead presentation development to gain required approval from leadership throughout a given project.
Willingness to be cross trained in practice management to provide short-term coverage of practice managers as needed to support teams.
Ability to manage direct reports.

Credentials and Experience
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Master’s degree preferred (or combination of bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience)
Specialized Knowledge: MS Office Products (including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Teams)
Kind and Length of Experience: Two – Three years’ physician practice management or healthcare environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be able to sit (frequent), stand (frequent), walk (frequent), stoop (frequent), bend over (frequent) and type on keyboard (frequent)
Ability to communicate in person and by phone (frequent)
Physical ability to retrieve and file records in a (6-7 shelf) file cabinet (occasional)
Must be able to independently lift 25 lbs. (occasional)
