We are a fast-growing and fast-moving company looking to hire a Chef/Confectioner to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the official creator of the gummy solution.
  • Efficiently follow detailed recipes to produce gummies with high quality, consistency, and minimal waste.
  • Perform mathematical calculations to ensure proper dosage.
  • Properly mix all ingredients to ensure adequate homogenization.
  • Keep accurate and legible production logs.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and visual presentation.
  • Communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Packaging and labeling duties as needed.
  • Follow AZDHS regulations for health and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

You’ll be a good candidate if you have:

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with the ability to deliver accuracy while meeting and exceeding goals.
  • High school diploma or GED (required), Associate degree and/or 2-year culinary preferred
  • 2-year working experience in a kitchen, or food production.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Pass a fingerprint clearance and background check.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Detail oriented and able to follow meticulous instructions.
  • Must be 21 or older.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour. Benefits include paid parental leave, vacation time, 10 paid holidays (including 4/20), health, dental, vision, 401k, flexible spending accounts, company paid life insurance, and company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.
