ODU-USA Inc. is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near San Diego, CA

ODU combines all relevant areas of expertise and key technologies including design and development, machine tooling and special machine construction, injection, stamping, turning, surface technology, assembly and cable assembly. ODU connectors ensure a reliable transmission of power, signals, data and media for a variety of demanding applications including medical technology, military and security, automotive, industrial electronics, and test and measurement.
The Senior Accountant will be based in our San Diego facility and is responsible for general accounting and financial processes within ODU, with an emphasis on company assets and month-end closing. This role supports all USA entities.
Responsibilities
- Takes the lead in month-end processing and occasional reporting.
- Maintains and updates accounting records and files.
- Handles the asset invoicing process, working with internal teams as needed.
- Assists in the reconciliation of assets, including asset tagging and month-end reporting.
- Identifies areas for improvement and takes initiative to drive solutions.
- Serves as back-up for AR/AP functions, as well as reporting from expense reimbursement software.
- Participates in regular audits, supporting the finance and accounting teams.
- Assist with the conversion from GP to SAP, with post-implementation maintenance and improvements.
- Responsible for other duties and projects as assigned.
