Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, gift cards, and vouchers
- Proper handling, storage, and organization of receipts and credit cards
- Service of alcoholic beverages while maintaining legal age requirements
- Provide prompt and professional beverage service
- Prepare alcoholic beverages for the Cabana and VIP Service staff
- Assist in providing food and beverage service to Cabana and VIP guests
- Knowledge of all menu items, alcoholic beverages and specials
- Excellent cash handling skills making transactions fast, friendly, and fun
- Follow opening & closing procedures to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
- Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines
- Stock and rotate product up to par
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow Park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum 2 years high volume bartending experience preferred
- Must provide excellent customer service
- Approachable, outgoing and excited about suggestive selling
- Ability to count money and make change efficiently
- Ability to accept guidance, constructive criticism and supervision
- Ability communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work open to close
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of50 pounds, team lift as needed and for heavier objects
