Project Manager
Oberon Design, a San Francisco based Product Design and Manufacturing firm, specializing in framed mirrors, furnishings, artwork and accessories for Hotel, Retail, and the Visual Display Industries is currently seeking an individual who works both well in a team and on their own, for a Production Manager position.
Some of our clients include: W Hotels, Kimpton Hotels, Pottery Barn, William Sonoma, Restoration Hardware, Banana Republic, and Design Within Reach.
The ideal candidate should have 2 years of production management and/or sourcing experience, preferably from the Hospitality and/or Retail fields.
Competitive salary depending on experience, and comprehensive benefits package.
Required:
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent softare skills ( MS Office - including Excel are essential)
*Experience managing project/products from conception to implementation/final product.
*Solid time management skills, attention to detail
*Self started with initiative, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and desire to grow with the company to assume additional leadership roles
Helpful:
*Knowledge of Contemporary Design and Home Furnishing trends
*Experience w/scheduling and receiving freight, domestic and international
*Experience in working with off-shore manufacturers
*Packaging experience
