A typical day for a Director of Human Resources includes:

  • Managing the HR related functions including, but not limited to, recruiting, onboarding, personnel file maintenance, compensation/payroll, and performance management
  • Oversees payroll information for submission to payroll department for processing.
  • Develops and administers various employee relations and culture initiatives for community personnel.
  • Serves as Manager on Duty as scheduled
  • Assisting the Executive Director and other Directors with performance management questions/concerns regarding their direct reports

Director of Human Resources Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required, college degree in a related field preferred
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • 2-3 years previous experience in human resources supervisory role
  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
  • Reliable transportation. This role will support a main campus, as well as one standalone community. Applicants should be able to be on site at the various supported locations, depending on business needs.
