What You’ll Be DoingThe Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics at Nuvation Bio will spearhead all analytics to support the commercial launch of Taletrectinib in the US. Collaborating closely with the Director of Insights & Analytics and key internal commercial teams (Marketing, Sales, Market Access), as well as external partners, this role will drive commercial analytical projects aligning with ongoing commercialization strategy and new product launches. Conduct ongoing and ad-hoc marketing analytics to uncover market insights, patient journeys, customer needs, HCP segmentation, payer mix, and growth opportunities, supporting investment prioritization and product optimization
Spearhead finance forecasting initiatives by meticulously analyzing historical data, tracking market trends, and integrating business forecasts to formulate precise financial projections and robust models
Foster close collaboration with commercial insights teams to deliver cohesive insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership, empowering strategic decision-making processes
Provide analytical support across various cross-functional teams, contributing to activities such as field force sizing, territory planning, incentive compensation structuring, assessment of promotion channel ROI and effectiveness, and strategic planning
Cultivate an environment of innovation by exploring unconventional analytical solutions that transcend traditional models, incorporating advanced techniques like data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning
Collaborate with Finance and the Director of Insights & Analytics to effectively manage departmental budgets, overseeing vendor agreements and contracts
Partner with US Team to devise comprehensive strategies for new product launches and efficiently manage product life cycles
Contribute to the Promo Mix project, evaluating the efficacy of all promotion channels to enhance overall marketing strategies
Utilize a variety of data sources and analytical tools proactively to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards for monitoring brand performance and evaluating competitor activity. Present data-driven solutions aimed at achieving business objectives and ensuring adherence to project timelines
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
What Knowledge & Experience You'll Bring To Us...
Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required; Master’s or MBA Degree in quantitative subject (Stats, Engineering, Mathematics, science or economics) is preferred
5 years of experience in commercial analytics, with at least 3 years in data analytics/metrics within the biopharmaceutical industry
Exhibit exceptional communication and influencing skills, adept at distilling complex analytical findings into compelling business narratives. Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leadership
Proficient in utilizing analytical and visualization tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, and PowerBI
Hands-on experience with key pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony claims)
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various pharmaceutical data sets, encompassing field activities, digital engagement metrics, and financial reports
Excel in identifying stakeholder needs and crafting customer engagement use cases that drive business value
Proven expertise in employing advanced quantitative methods for commercial analytics, including segmentation and predictive modeling techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work streams concurrently
Strategic thinking and business acumen for product analytics
Hands-on expertise in advanced analytics, statistical methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, particularly in omnichannel marketing contexts
Strong storytelling skills: Ability to translate complex analytical findings into actional insights and effectively communicate them to cross-functional stakeholders
