Job Description
Busy insurance agency on the south side of Jacksonville, Florida is looking for bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed P&C agents and customer service representatives. We sell non-standard auto insurance, home insurance, commercial insurance, general liability, and worker's comp. We are looking for bright, talented, sales driven, self-motivated professionals. We prefer you to already have your 2-20 or 4-40 license, but are willing to let the right candidate get their license while they are going through our initial training. (You must be able to pass a background check with the state of Florida to obtain this license.) Your primary responsibility will be to answer inbound sales calls, create quotes, bind policies, and follow up with customers who have inquired about insurance. You will also be assisting clients with their existing policies.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver excellent customer service that insures ongoing sales and high level of customer satisfaction.
· Work with customers to determine their coverage needs and recommend the right products.
· Develop and cultivate strong sales relationships with customers.
· Use company literature and available training resources to stay up to date on product features.
· Perform script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of sales.
· Follow up with client after initial contact if no sale is made.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High school diploma/GED
· Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
· Excellent phone manner and articulation
· Ability to type minimum of 30 WPM
· Have a Florida Property and Casualty insurance license (preferred)
