Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources (DHR) provides leadership and support in all areas of human resource management and services. The DHR is responsible for supporting all aspects of Human Resources including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, student relations, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training and development and data management. The DHR will augment payroll functions as needed. The DHR will serve on the Title IX team and support Title IX functions as needed. The DHR interprets laws and regulations related to HR and advises college faculty and staff regarding laws and regulations. The DHR creates and/or updates all applicable board policies and administrative procedures under the guidance of the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The DHR reports to the CHRO. This is a non-supervisory position. Incumbent must be willing to follow an individual development plan and participate in professional development. Additionally, incumbent must be willing to serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)

Education/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of management experience.
  • PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP required. If not certified, incumbent must agree to attain certification within 18 months from date of hire.
