As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join us as the Vice President of Human Resources.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned HR professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience to lead and develop our Human Resources department. The Vice President of Human Resources will play a critical role in shaping the company's culture, driving talent acquisition, and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, capable of leading HR initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals.
    • Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including potential expansion and development of the team.
    • Identify, assess, and communicate key performance indicators for the organization’s HR, talent management, retention, development, and benefits programs.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain succession programs and initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention:
    • Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.
    • Develop and implement effective onboarding and retention programs.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on all HR-related issues.
    • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and a positive work culture.
    • Provide oversight of all employee separations, including the execution of exit interview process.
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Lead the administration and enhancement of our competitive compensation and benefits programs.
    • Stay current on market trends to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Learning and Development:
    • Create and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous learning and skill development across the organization.
  • Compliance:
    • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and proactively address compliance issues.
  • Other:
    • Serve as executive sponsor and lead on implementation and enhancement of third-party HR systems, such as Paycom and NetSuite.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree and HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
