- Oversee the invoicing, application for payment, and collection phases of the accounts receivable process.
- Make certain that all revenue recognized follows ASC 606 criteria.
- To increase the accuracy and efficiency of AR processes, create and apply policies and procedures.
- Participate in the month-end closing procedure, which involves account reconciliations.
- Work together with cross-functional teams to find and fix problems pertaining to income.
- In order to identify delinquent accounts and take the necessary action, review and analyze AR aging reports.
- Report on AR metrics on a regular basis to top management.
- As needed, lend a hand with other accounting duties and projects.
- Keep up on accounting rules and guidelines to guarantee compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
- 3 years of accounts receivable experience are necessary, with at least one year spent in a management capacity ideal.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, or widely accepted accounting standards.
- Proficiency with the Office Suite from Microsoft, especially with Excel.
- Sage Intacct accounting software experience is preferred.
- Keen eye for detail and strong analytical abilities.
- The capacity to function both alone and in a team.
