Position Summary:

The primary role of the Account Manager is to provide day-to-day support for client marketing activities and serve as the primary or secondary point of contact between the client and NLT.

This person needs to be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable in a highly accountable but autonomous work environment (home office). The ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, is necessary to be effective. Verbal communication skills will allow this person to build relationships required to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. Written communication skills are essential for the development of all communication on behalf of the client.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for Implementing Marketing Strategies and Programs.
  • Will Work Closely with Client(s) on Account Activities and be Expected to Manage Account Workload, thus Meeting Deadlines.
  • Maintain a Proactive Flow of Communication with Client Contacts.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with NLT's Virtual Team (Creative, Web, Research, Digital).

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Monthly Marketing Updates and Participate in Monthly Marketing Meetings.
  • Run Monthly/Quarterly Communication Content Meetings.
  • Create Monthly/Quarterly Editorial Calendar and Distribute to Clients.
  • Develop and Write Blogs/News Releases for External Audiences.
  • Distribute Blog Content/News Releases/Advertising Communication via MailChimp and WordPress (or Similar Tools).
  • Lead Public Relations Activities Through Traditional and Social Media Avenues.
  • Provide Social Media Support for Clients, Including Content and Monitoring.
  • Responsible for Planning, Purchasing, and Managing All Traditional and Digital Media Activities.
  • Additional Activities Could Include Event Coordination, Webinar Coordination, and Survey Development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, Journalism, Marketing, or Communication preferred but not required.
  • 2 to 5 Years in Public Relations or Marketing preferred but not required.
  • Experience with WordPress, Email Marketing Service Providers and Adobe Suite is a plus!
  • Familiarity in Executing from a Work Plan and Managing an Editorial Calendar.
  • Excellent Writing and Client Service Skills.
  • Self-Starter who is Enthusiastic, Persistent, Creative, and Motivated to Work in a Fast-Paced, Autonomous Team Environment.
