POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Facilities Manager is responsible for coordinating system repairs and monitoring system performance with the department. The Assitant Facilities Manager will provide support in the contract and supervision of the HVAC, Electrical and 3rd party services for NexTier locations in Greater Houston. They will also oversee the entire facility and assist in the supervision of the facility lead and facility maintenance technicians. Key AccountabilitiesTake an active role in the daily safety and weekly staff meetingsCoordinate the facility team to ensure daily tasks and projects are completed safely and timelyAssist with the leadership of the facilitySupport all functional departments within the companyOversee the cleanliness and all maintenance of the facilityUtilize knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systemsAssist with diagnosing facility related issues to achieve resolutionsCreate material requests to follow with NexTier's purchasing processAny and all miscellaneous repairs or upgrades associated with the facilityPerform and other job duties assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAssists and works well with others to accomplish goals and maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situationsResilient, persuasive and earns credibility by delegating and being adaptable.
