Lodging Solutions/Industrial Tent Systems is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager, who is hands-on, highly motivated, organized and detail oriented. As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of all maintenance, repair, and alteration of three Houston area office and warehouse buildings as well as oversite of a Florida and Virginia office.
Requirements:
· Leads and directs all aspects of the day-to-day maintenance activities including scheduling and directing staff, managing inventory, grounds keeping, continuous improvement, and contractor management
· Proficient at various skills and semi-skilled tasks associated with accepted practices for building preservation and maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting or anything deemed necessary to maintain facilities.
· Evaluate effectiveness and compliance fire suppression, sign maintenance, security and fire alarm and other facilities focus areas
· Maintain and update records of facility work orders project status’
· Track invoices for facility support, third-party vendors, projects and events
· Schedule regular building maintenance and janitorial services
· Keep updated and accurate records of building inspections and repairs
· Develop accurate investment proposals for capital and major maintenance project
Qualifications:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction, or related field
· Minimum of 5 years of experience managing staff, schedules
· Experience managing multiple sites
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations
· Work in NetSuite to create PO’s and invoices
· Solid all-around handyman skills
· Experience with property maintenance software/systems
· Ability to be on call 24/7 as the first point of contact for any operational issues
· Experience managing budgets and allocating resources
· Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
· A valid driver’s license and good driving record
· Ability to build strong relationships and credibility across a broad range of stakeholders
· Professional verbal and written communication skills
