New Covenant Academy is Hiring a Middle School Math Teacher Near Los Angeles, CA
New Covenant Academy is a Christian K-12 school in the heart of Koreatown, Los Angeles.
We're looking to immediately hire a Middle School Math teacher. Candidates must have minimum of Bachelor's degree in the relevant field, but preference is given to candidates with either a M.A. or Single Subject Credential in Mathematics. Understanding of Singapore Math or experience teaching Singapore Math is a plus. Must possess excellent communication skills as well as passion for Christian school education. The teacher must be able to deliver instruction both in person and via online in case needed. Technology skills and knowledge is preferred. Class sizes are small (around 10-15 students per class) with our middle school consisting of 4th - 8th graders. Our school is big on professional development, collaboration, and cross-curricular project-based learning.
Salary is commensurate with experience and education. Benefits are available.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
