We are currently seeking a Middle School Teacher on behalf of our client, a reputable school, to join their dedicated team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in teaching middle school students, establishing strong relationships with students, and fostering a supportive learning environment. This position requires a deep commitment to meeting the needs of English learners, and while Spanish language proficiency is desirable, it is not mandatory. The school prioritizes student engagement and holistic development, valuing personal growth and well-being alongside academic success.

Pay Rate: $61,000 - $62,414 a year

Schedule: Monday - Friday (School Hours)

Location: Lincoln Heights, CA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education.(Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Multiple Subject Teaching credentials.
• Strong commitment to student-centered education, prioritizing holistic development over strict academic achievement.
• Previous teaching experience at the middle school level, ideally within diverse classroom environments.
• Spanish language proficiency is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with grade-level standards, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of learning concepts.
• Employ differentiated instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students, including English learners, and promote an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Foster positive relationships with students, creating a safe and supportive environment to facilitate their social-emotional growth.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to actively engage students in hands-on, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and implementing appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to design interdisciplinary projects that promote cross-curricular connections.
• Regularly communicate student progress to parents/guardians, promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional manner.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in education, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
