Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Portfolio Operations Manager to provide performance analysis, data collection and analysis, Backlog management, and business mentorship supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). Nakupuna Consulting is extending contingent offers for this effort in anticipation of contract award, which is expected in May of 2024. The Business Analyst IV will support in writing Epics and Features as part of the Portfolio Operations Team. Frequent, open communication with both the Program Manager and the Army client will be an essential aspect of the role, and the Business Analyst will employ excellent writing skills across important reports and participate in meetings. While the Business Analyst IV will be proficient in solving the most complex problems without extensive assistance from other staff-members, collaboration with the numerous Agile Teams will be a common aspect of the position. The Business Analyst IV should serve as a positive mentor for junior employees, coaching team members as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 6-8 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred. PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.
Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in SAFe for Teams or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager preferred.
Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Work Location: Work location will be in the D.C., Maryland, Virginia region.
