Empower AI: As the Operations Manager, you will be a key member of the Empower AI team providing support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP) on the Platform Services contract. JSP operates and defends the Department of Defenses (DOD) key cyber terrain and provides information technology (IT) services to Pentagon and National Capital Region (NCR) customers. For Platform Services, Empower AI will provide an integrated, structured approach to operating, managing, and maintaining the JSP-supported infrastructure across all managed platforms, as well as assist in defining requirements for future upgrades and enhancements based on operational and customer trends. We will provide a unified approach to managing server, storage, and application resources (to include virtualized applications) at an enterprise level. In order to drive standardization in the hosting environment, Empower AI will assist customers, both external and internal, by moving applications to the JSP IT environments. This will allow JSP to offer services and infrastructure to customers via a Platform as a Service model, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model, Desktop as a Service (DaaS) model, or at minimum, limit application deployments only to standardized servers.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

• Perform duties associated with entire scope of the contract.
• Manage a wide range of daily operations, incidents, troubleshooting, and initiatives, system and application upgrades.
• Manage the overall Operations of the contract in direct coordination with the On-Site Program Manager and Government Leadership.
• Manage a wide range of daily operations, incidents, troubleshooting, and initiatives, system and application upgrades.
• Manager multiple and complex IT projects.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement DoD specific IT policies, processes and procedures.
• Manage, develop, monitor, and report on client Service Level Agreements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, computer information systems, telecommunications, or management information systems, and 2 - 7 recent years of documented experience relevant to this key position.
• Information Assurance (IA) Certification: DoDI 8570 IAT II certification.
• Computing Environment (CE) Certification: Recent and relevant technical certification.
• Top Secret security clearance.
• Possess abilities to manage a wide range of daily operations, incidents, troubleshooting, and initiatives, system and application upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability and experience in managing and administering large complex IT projects (24/7) that are similar in size and scope referenced under this order.
• Experience in developing, coordinating and implementing DoD specific IT policies, processes and procedures.
• Experience managing, developing, monitoring and reporting on client Service Level Agreements.
• Thorough knowledge of backend server environments, storage networks and networking infrastructures, which includes any network-based hardware and software system.
• Experience and understanding of STIG policies.
• Must have experience working as a Senior IT analyst to include requirements analysis, system design, project management, enterprise strategy, personnel management, system integration and technology evaluation.
• Must have experience in Linux, Windows environment on Server 2008 and higher, and Windows 7 and/or Windows 10 operating systems environments similar in size and scope of this order.
• Must have equivalent professional experience and certification to Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation and Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level III PM.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and implement CAC/PKI procedures.
• Understanding of the Army Enterprise strategy to include Area Processing Center (APC) and DoD Joint Information Environment (JIE) initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management.
