Operations Manager Job Summary:The Operations Manager supports the crafting and implementation of the Institute’s internal communication strategy which encompasses scheduling, planning, and hosting all-staff meetings, quarterly in-office teamwork weeks, and the annual IHS summit retreat. Reporting to the Chief of Operations and Communications, this individual will also organize and prepare quarterly reporting and execute on project management functions for a variety of general operations and tasks. The Manager will work closely with cross-collaborative partners on the Operations, Communications & Marketing, HR, IT, Finance, Development, and Solution Coalitions teams. Supervisory Responsibilities:None Duties/Responsibilities:Assist the Chief of Operations and Communications in crafting and implementing an internal communications strategy and manage and serve as the point of contact for formalized strategy and related deliverables.Organize weekly all-staff emails and monthly all-staff meetings.Plan and execute logistics for quarterly in-office teamwork events which also encompasses the yearly staff retreat; logistics including but not limited to calendaring, on- and off-site speaker events and activities, staff-wide lodging, and other functions as needed.Manage communication and relationships with external partners, vendors, and relevant stakeholders.Work cross-functionally to prepare quarterly reports covering budget and spend, holistic organizational performance and health, and yearly goals, for leadership review.Serve as the project manager for yearly planning.Assist the Chief of Operations and Communications with general operations tasks and projects. Required Skills/Qualifications:3 years of relevant experience.Experience with CRM and project management software highly preferred.Salesforce and Asana preferred.High degree of professionalism with strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent detail-orientation and organizational skills to meet clearly set goals and project timelines.Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for teamwork and cross-collaboration across the organization, matched by demonstrated success working independently and driving individual timelines and projects.Strong sense of flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.Knowledge of and appreciation for classical liberal principles (individual rights, free markets, limited government, voluntarism, and peace).The ability to lift 20 lbs. or more. To apply, qualified candidates must submit the following application materials (through additional documents):ResumeCover letter detailing:Your interest in this position.A compelling case about why the IHS mission resonates with you.Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually, commensurate with experience.
