N4 Solutions is Hiring a Project Manager Near Rockville, MD
- Organize, track, and manage projects, timelines, websites, communications, and activities related to the implementation of projects under the Antiviral Program for Pandemics (APP).
- Proactively identify and report dependencies and risks associated with ongoing projects to stakeholders.
- Track progress of APP projects using information systems and software such as OneNote and Microsoft Project.
- Report information from NIAID systems into APP SharePoint portal (which includes stakeholders such as the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, and the NIH Office of Research Infrastructure Programs) as required.
- Facilitate meeting organization, logistics, communications, and other similar activities.
- Schedule and attend meetings and teleconferences with program staff, write meeting summaries, and edit and develop briefing documents.
- Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Work closely with members of the Office of Biodefense, Research Resources, and Translational Research on programs, projects, and task orders to advance grants, cooperative agreements, contracts, and product development-related activities and requests from the extramural community for research resources and information (e.g. database related information, research resources, meeting logistics and organization, minutes, communications).
- Meet with the APP staff on a regular basis to provide oral and/or written reports on the status of on-going projects and to receive new assignments.
- Knowledge and experience with common desktop application software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Project or similar software is highly desirable.
- Ability to prepare and edit scientific documents with limited assistance from Program Staff.
- Exceptional writing skills and familiarity with AP Stylebook guidelines is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and individually.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- U.S. Citizenship
- Graduate degree or equivalent degree in, health sciences, or disciplines related to project management, OR Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of experience with Project Management or Office Administration.
