This position manages reception desk by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks in all visitors
• Answers and forwards calls
• Sorts and distributes mail
• Processes accounts payable invoices
• Review and reconcile vendor statements
• Administers petty cash
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Checks packing slips against receiving report
• Orders office supplies
• Assists with special projects, as necessary
• Performs other duties that may be assigned
• Predictable and regular attendance is required

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); Six months to one year of related experience and/or training

• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and managing emails.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, and volume.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively 
• Experience as an accounts payable specialist or similar role is preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Occasionally bend and stoop while filing. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay wage: $20-23/hr (DOE)
• Shift: Day Shift (5am-3:30pm) and Swing Shift (3pm-1:30am)
